SUMMARY OF POSITION

At COAST Construction, the Carpenter is required to have an excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and wood properties with the ability to read and interpret architectural and structural design drawings. The Carpenter position reports to Operations Manager, the project’s Site Supervisor and Project Manager and provides expertise in all areas of carpentry (framing, forming and finishing). This position ensures safety standards are met. We are looking for a professional and dedicated individual capable of showing independent judgement and initiative who will fit with our collaborative culture.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Project Manager provides leadership, technical expertise and direction to all aspects of a project life cycle and ensures each project meets client requirements and is completed on time and on budget. Reports to Senior Project Manager and Finance Manager and works closely with Operations Manager and Site Operations team. As a construction industry professional with minimum of 3 years project management experience, the Project Manager has superior communication skills, a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional detail-oriented results and to work cohesively with others.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Working closely with the General Manager/Owner of COAST Construction, Finance Manager and Operations Manager, the Senior Project Manager leads the management of multiple construction projects in conjunction with Project Managers and Site Supervisors. The Senior PM is a proven leader who operates from a place of integrity and effectively represents the company while liaising with clients and/or client representatives and consultants. This position is actively involved in business development and driving new business to the company. As a construction industry professional, the Senior PM is responsible for project profitability and for maintaining exceptional quality in all aspects of company relations and construction management.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

COAST Construction’s Office Administrator coordinates the company’s administration and provides graphic design support for marketing. This dynamic position works closely with Owner/General Manager and Management Team and requires a person experienced in administrative duties who is a highly-organized multi-tasker with excellent communication skills. The Office Administrator thrives in a fast-paced office environment, takes instruction well and efficiently structures their own time.
