





With over twenty years of experience building in Whistler, throughout the Sea to Sky corridor and Vancouver region, Kevin Raffler, as owner and General Manager of Coast Construction has built a reputation for successful management and execution of construction projects. The passion for the industry and the drive for perfection started at an early age when he worked alongside his father on diverse projects, including building their family home. Introduction and Pre-Construction Phase
The construction process begins with an initial consultation with the client and consultants to thoroughly understand design concepts, communicate areas of concern, provide feedback, review fee structures and discuss budget parameters. Moving into the planning stage will see the rendering of a detailed estimate incorporating site specifications, architectural drawings, design finishes and value engineering. With a signed estimate, we issue an agreed upon construction budget and construction schedule and pursue necessary permits. We then tender all scopes of necessary trade work and source supply components for the project.
Building Phase
During the course of construction, we efficiently manage staff and trades, continue with ordering materials, millwork and appliances, coordinate trades and monitor inspections. Throughout the build process, communication is essential and we regularly provide financial reporting and updates (budget, schedule, change orders). This ongoing detailed analysis throughout the project life cycle is how Coast ensures quality craftmanship and superior budget compliance.
Completion Phase
With the successful completion of the project, we adhere to our commitment of unparalleled client satisfaction and guarantee that all deficiencies, inspections and permits will be complete. We will make sure your project is perfect and provide you with all necessary warranties and manuals.

It covers the project’s entire lifecycle, from bidding to closeout, with functionality for project management, quality and safety and instantaneous financials tracking. As a drawing-centric application, it puts everything on the current drawing set, so our staff has what they need when they need it. This greatly assists us to build quality projects, manage risks and adhere to budget specifications.
Transparent Financials and Clear Reporting
Our reputation is founded in the Coast commitment to being thorough and transparent when handling our clients’ money. Our system can issue either bi-monthly or monthly progress claims with all supporting documents for direct project costs, trade and supplier contracts, and progress milestone reports.
